Bemedalled athlete Sandi Menchie Abahan is the first recipient of the Sports Excellence Award from the city government for her multiple achievements in the Guinness World Record Obstacle Course Race events from 2021 to 2022.
A certificate was awarded by City Administrator Bonifacio Dela Peña with members of the city council during Monday’s flag raising ceremony at the City Hall grounds.

F. Oct. 15, 2022 – 5k Borneo Trail Classic, Sarawak, Malaysia Champion with a time of 8 hours 40 minutes and 10 seconds
G. Nov. 8, 2022 – Altitude OCR World Championships Mount Everest, Nepal
