Cordillera Mountain Ultra 2022

Cordillera Mountain Ultra 2022

It has been 3 years since we held the last Cordillera Mountain Ultra. And 3 years since we last saw the community that has grown around the race. The pandemic has stopped our lives and changed it irreversibly, but one thing remains constant is that the mountains, wild spaces, and villages that are our home our Ili still remain waiting for all of us to return to their valleys, ridges, and peaks.
On December 3 and 4, 2022 the Cordillera Mountain Ultra returns to the slopes of Mt. Ugo and with that return to racing we look forward to seeing the entire CMU family that has grown around the race from the villagers of Tinongdan, the marshals, medics, cooks, performers, and of course you the runners that make this event possible since we started it in 2015. We are excited and scared of this return to racing and we expect there will be some changes and difficulties in holding this event again after 3 years away so in this case we ask for your understanding, but rest assured we will work on putting together a race we can all be proud of to join as well as organize to the standards we have set for the CMU over its history.
Tomorrow September 1st registration for the CMU 2022 reopens and we are looking forward to seeing every single one of you again, the family we have built around the race -when you arrive we will be there to welcome you home.
