Former president Benigno Aquino III was the first Bachelor president of the Philippines.

Pnoy his monicker, was the 15th President of the Philippines if we are going to follow the succession of Philippine presidents with Aguinaldo being the first.

But, then again, read the Philippines history… Thoroughly…

The cause of death of former president Benigno Aquino III was renal disease secondary to diabetes.

Pnoy or Noynoy as he was also called died at the age of 61 last Thursday, 24 June 2021 at his home in Times Street, Barangay West Triangle, Quezon City.

His presidency will be remembered mostly for the Philippines’ arbitral win against China because it was during his presidency that The Pearl of the Orient Seas challenged The Red Dragon.

Unfortunately, the Mamasapano massacre and/or misencounter on Sunday, 25 January 2015 at Tukanalipao, Mamasapano, Maguindanao wherein to 44 Special Action Forces (SAF) members were killed, stained PNoy’s legacy.

It was a massacre according to Philippines’ Senate but it was a misencounter based in Commission on Human Rights description. Nevertheless, 44 PNP-SAF were killed.
