It was a victory for most players who were constantly monitored and hunted by opposite faction players. I also belong on this list of players and fortunately, I had a milestone of 147 consecutive days, just three days short of the targeted 150 days for an Onyx Guardian Portal badge.
I do not have to worry anymore about recharging and maintaining a Guardian Portal(s) since Niantic Labs already “retired” the Guardian Portal badge as of 2 April 2018. Anyone with maintained portals for more than 140 consecutive days had retroactively made an Onyx Guardian Portal badge while those with 80 days to 139 days of guardian portal milestones will gain a Platinum Guardian Portal badge.
