Four Lakes 100K/Old Spanish Trail 50K

Four Lakes 100K and Old Spanish Trail 50K are two events happening on April 1-2, 2017 near Baguio City, specifically at Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya organised by King of the Mountain Trail Run.

Last day for regular registration is on March 16, 2017. There will be a 20% surcharge for all late registrants from March 17 onwards.

  • Start: April 01, 2017, Saturday, 3:00 a.m. / Kayapa Central School
  • Finish: April 01, 2017, Saturday, 5:00 p.m. / Kayapa Central School
  • Awarding and Closing Ceremonies: April 2, 2017, Sunday, 8:00 a.m. / Kayapa Central School
  • Race Briefing and Race Kit distribution: March 31, 2017, Friday, 2:00 p.m. Kayapa Central School

CUT-OFF TIMES

  • CUT-OFF: Kayapa Proper East Market ~35km (8:00:00 hours)
  • FINISH LINE: Kayapa Central School ~ (14:00:00 hours)
  • All runners must leave the Cut-off Point on or before the designated cut-off time. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to continue and will be declared as DNF (Did not Finish).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  1. He/she must be 18 years of age at the time of the event.
  2. He/she must have officially finished the full distance of a trail marathon, a road marathon or a half (70.3) triathlon with results that must be verifiable over the internet.
  3. Previous official finishers of frontRUNNER’s Valley Trail Challenge 50K will be automatically qualified.
  4. Previous official finishers of KOTM events will be automatically qualified:
    • Mount Ugo Marathon
    • OST50/OST65
    • Pulag 100K
    • Four Lakes 100K
    • Hardcore 100 Miles

REGISTRATION FEES

  • Local Entrants: Php 3,000.00
  • Foreign Entrants: US$ 60.00

Registration is inclusive of trail fees, event shirt, pre-race snacks and post-race meal. Official finishers will receive a finisher’s token.

The Old Spanish Trail 50K is worth 3 points for the 2018 UTMB Qualifiers/Points.

The Old Spanish Trail is a path built and used by the Spaniards centuries ago to connect the provinces of Benguet and Pangasinan.  The trail still exists today though it remains single-track and used mainly by a few mountain climbers and locals who travel on foot.

    • Old Spanish Trail (OST50/OST65)
    • Pulag 100K (P1)
    • Four Lakes 100K (FL100)
    • Hardcore 100 Miles (H1)

The Four Lakes 100K is worth 5 points for the 2018 UTMB Qualifiers/Points.

During the inaugural Four Lakes 100 in 2012, Cheryl J. Bihag is the only female among the 14 finishers, and she is the pioneer female champion of the FL 100.

Check out the King of the Mountain website for additional information regarding these two events, and you will be helping children in some schools in fulfilling their dreams.

The organizers will share and give hope to selected elementary schools in Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya, Babadak, Lusod and Lebeng Elementary School (Kabayan, Benguet), Domolpos and Lusod Elementary School (Itogon, Benguet), Mangagew and Simbunan Elementary School (Bokod, Benguet), and Danggo Elementary School (Tinoc, Ifugao).
