Mount Ugo Marathon 2017 is the first event organized by the KOTM (King of the Mountain Trail Run Philippines) which is also a member of the ITRA (International Trail Running Association).

It will happen on February 19, 2017, Sunday, at 4AM at Kayapa Central School, which is located in Nueva Vizcaya, a neighbouring province of Benguet. It will have two categories, which is the 42-K marathon and 21-K half-marathon. The marathon organizers will be implementing cut-off times for the two categories of the trail marathon. It will be 10 hours for the marathon while the half-marathon will be having 5 hours.
In order to join, you must be 18 years old on race day and must have officially finished a 21-kilometer road run or trail run, which must be verifiable over the internet. Registration fees are as follows:
- Marathon – Php 2,000.00 for local entrants, US$ 50.00 for foreign entrants
- Half Marathon – Php 1,500.00 for local entrants, US$ 35.00 for foreign entrants
The registration will be inclusive of trail fees, event shirt, pre-race snacks and post-race meal and official finishers will receive a finisher’s token.

After depositing the registration fees, you must send a copy of the deposit slip, either photograph or scanned copy, and email to 2017kotm@gmail.com (Subject: 2017 MUM) and wait for an acknowledgement email for confirmation of your registration.
There will be no drop bag station but a baggage counter will be available at the start/finish line. Organizers will not allow support vehicles during the race.
