It will be the second year for the Philex Community Credit Cooperative – Philex-Mining Corporation Fun Run and it will be happening on October 23, 2016, Sunday, at 9:00 AM.
3K, 5K, and 10K categories are the choices for the race event with discounted prices for students. For the 3K category which is the 3K Kiddie Run for runners below the age of 15 years old, the registration fees will be Php 200.00 for students and Php 250.00 for non-students. The 5K Fun Run will have an Open category for all runners while those runners at the age of 40 years old and above may decide to join the Master’s category. The registration fees for the 5K category will be Php 250.00 for students and Php 300.00 for non-students. The 10K Fun Run will also have an Open category for all runners and runners at the age of 40 years old and above may choose to join the Master’s category. The registration fees will be Php 350.00 for students and Php 400.00 for non-students.
The registration will be inclusive of a race Singlet and a race BIB that is non-transferable, light snacks, and an opportunity to win a raffle prize at the awarding ceremony. Male and female oldest runners will be entitled to a Php 500.00 cash incentive. Top finisher prizes will be Php 1,000.00 for the 3K category, Php 2,000.00 for the 5K (Open) and Php 1,500.00 (Master’s), and Php 3,000.00 for the 10K (Open) and Php 2,000.00 (Master’s). Runner-up and third place prizes including finisher’s incentives for the Top 20 (3K), Top 30 (5K) and Top 50 (10K) runners are at stake in the race event.
Registration sites for Philex Mines residents and neighbouring host communities can register at the Philex Community Credit Cooperative (PCCCO) during office hours from August 21, 2016, to October 22, 2016. Other interested runners from Baguio City, La Trinidad, and other areas near Baguio can register at the designated registration site at the SSS parking area along Harrison Road, Baguio City from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the following dates:

Organisers will be requiring runners joining the Master’s Category for the 5K and 10K to present Certificate of Live Birth and valid IDs. Likewise, those runners below 18 years old will be submitting their parent’s or guardian has written consent indicating their interest in joining the running event.
Assembly time will start at 8:30 AM and the gun start will be 9:00 AM for the 10K category, 9:15 AM for the 5K category, and 9:30 AM for the 3K category.
