The town of Kibungan is almost 60 kilometers away from Baguio City which is equivalent to 2 hours of travel time.  There are also several natural attractions that you can find in Kibungan such as Les-eng Rice Terraces, Mayos River, and Palina Rice Terraces. Contrary to popular belief, the people of Kibungan wanted to remove the tag “Switzerland of Benguet”   as it gives the wrong impression that there are snow-covered peaks for skiing located in the municipality.
